This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us through the cleanit4u website. It covers cleanit4u.co.uk and any cleaning service that starts with an enquiry here.

This website is operated by RevUp Online Ltd, trading as cleanit4u ("we", "us", "our"). RevUp Online Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.

We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website, which means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for looking after it. Our Information Commissioner's Office registration number is ZB406127.

If you have a question about this policy or how we use your information, you can contact us through the form on our contact page. We will give you a postal address on request.

What we collect

When you send a quote enquiry through this website, we collect:

  • your full name;
  • your email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
  • your postcode;
  • the service you are asking about (home or commercial cleaning);
  • the best time to contact you, if you choose one;
  • anything else you tell us about what you need.

We also record the date and time of your enquiry. We do not ask for anything special, such as health information, and you should not send it. We take no payment details through this website.

Our website is measured with privacy-friendly analytics that count visits without identifying anybody. That produces totals, not a record about you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • Contract, or steps before one (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR): handling your enquiry and providing the cleaning service you have asked about.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): running this website, preventing fraud and spam, and improving our service.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • respond to your quote enquiry;
  • match what you need with a vetted cleaning specialist who covers your postcode area;
  • contact you to arrange or confirm a cleaning service;
  • keep records of enquiries and the services provided;
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing. We will not send you marketing emails or texts without your clear consent, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share your information with

We share your contact details and enquiry with a vetted cleaning specialist who covers your postcode area and can carry out the service you have asked for. Each specialist has signed a written data processing agreement with us, confirming they will use your details only to provide the cleaning service and will handle them in line with UK GDPR.

We also use suppliers who handle information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • My Webby builds and hosts this website and passes your enquiry to us. Enquiries are stored on servers in the United Kingdom.
  • Our email provider carries the message telling us you have been in touch, and our reply to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Beyond the above, we share it only where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry details for as long as we need them to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. In practice:

  • enquiries and the leads they create are kept for up to 2 years from the date you send them;
  • anonymised records of submissions, which no longer identify you, may be kept for compliance and audit.

When we no longer need your personal information, we delete it securely or anonymise it.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your information, which is what this page is for;
  • access the information we hold about you;
  • rectification: have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete;
  • erasure: have it deleted where we no longer need it;

We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not hand your details to somebody else. We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

This website sets no tracking cookies at all. Our analytics are cookieless: they count a visit without storing anything on your device and without building a profile of you. That is why you are not asked to accept anything when you arrive.
